You use the down arrow to shoot the line down, use the up arrow to pull the line back up again, you use the left and right arrow keys to aim the fishing gun at the fish swimming back and forth below you. The advantage of this fishing game is that you don’t even need to register or give any information about yourself. This is especially nice for young children who will enjoy playing a fishing game. I also found a fishing game site for kids that also does not require personal information to be given. This game also has a boater on top of the water with fish swimming below that you try to catch. This has an educational bent, in that the aim is to catch the fish labeled from a to Z. in alphabetical order. To help children the next letter in the alphabet is a different color than the other letters. The game requires you to move the boat back and forth with a mouse above and in front of the fish you want to catch. You click the boat when you want the line to drop down in front of the fish. This game may be too tough for young children who are learning the alphabet and too easy for children who know how to use the mouse and have long since learned their alphabet.A third fishing game to playAnother game called Big Catch, seems to be more for grown ups or at least a grown-up style fishing game. You see a realistic version of the lake from the view with you behind the fishing pole and you are casting out into a lake. You use the mouse to move the pole left or right and you right-click to cast and reel in. I am not sure how you catch the fish as I was not able to catch any.
